Nathan Saunders (born April 25, 1985) is a Canadian professional ice hockey defenceman currently playing for the Texas Brahmas of the Central Hockey League (CHL).

Playing career

Saunders was drafted by the Mighty Ducks of Anaheim in the 4th round (119th overall) of the 2003 NHL Entry Draft. In the 2004–05 season with the Moncton Wildcats, Saunders set a new club record with 198 penalty minutes, finishing with a career record of 794 PIMS.

Prior to the 2007–08 season, on September 24, 2007, Saunders (along with Brett Skinner) was traded by the Anaheim Ducks to the Boston Bruins in exchange for Mark Mowers.[1]
