Nathan Shane Fowles (born 8th Apr 1993 in Rochdale, England) is a professional rugby union player for Sale Sharks in the English Premiership competition. He's currently on a 3-month loan to Edinburgh, whom he will join on a permanent basis in the summer of 2015.[1]
His usual position is Scrum-half.[2]
He is Scottish qualified through his Edinburgh born grandfather.
Fowles progressed through the Sale Sharks academy and made his first ten appearances for the club while still a teenager. While on loan to Preston Grasshoppers in 2011/12, he was named in the National League Two North Team of the Year and he spent summer 2012 at Border Bulldogs competing in the under-21 Currie Cup.
