Natasha Zinko (born in Odessa, Ukraine) is a London based fashion and jewelry designer. Her main specialization is women’s wear and fashionable jewelry design with the main boutique outlet in the center of London, United Kingdom.
Early life and career
During her early life Natasha was studying law. Later she has chosen to change her career path to become a fashion designer.[1] Nowadays Natasha Zinko is famous for her jewelry design as well as women’s fashionable clothes. Despite her successful career in jurisprudence, Natasha had a change of heart and decided to pursue fashion design at the Central Saint Martins where she had learned the basics of jewelry design.[2] Later it has become a good reason to create her own jewelry brand and fashionable ready-to-wear clothes for women.[3]
She says, “When I was doing my foundation at Chelsea College of Art and Design I discovered I was good with 3D sculpture, but since I don’t like working with big things, small-scale design really felt like the right thing. When I applied to Central Saint Martin’s to study jewelry design that was my main focus“.[4]
“Jewelry design always comes through my emotions and feelings. I believe that jewelry could have a protective power, like a charm. Designing jewelry, you are thinking 3D on a smaller scale, while making clothes gives you the opportunity to play with bigger dimensions. Clothing is always inspired by my day-to-day life and surroundings.” These words characterize Natasha Zinko as true designer, who is passionate about her work.
Currently she is the owner of boutique on London’s 46 Maddox Street, Mayfair.[5]
