Natalia Almada is a Mexican and American photographer and documentary filmmaker. She won the 2009 Sundance Directing Award Documentary for her film “El General”. She is a 2012 MacArthur Fellow.[1]
Education
Almada attended schools in both Mexico and the United States as a child. She received an MFA from the Rhode Island School of Design.
