Nassarius glans, common name the acorn dog whelk, is a species of sea snail, a marine gastropod mollusk in the family Nassariidae, the Nassa mud snails or dog whelks.[1]

Subspecies

Description

The length of the shell varies between 15 mm and 50 mm.

Distribution

This species occurs in the Red Sea and in the Indian Ocean off Réunion, Mauritius and the Mascarene Basin; in the Indo-West Pacific.
