Narayanapuram (Telugu: నారాయణపురం) is a village and panchayat in Balijipeta mandal of Vizianagaram district, Andhra Pradesh, India.
It is located about 25 kilometers from Bobbili and about 60 kilometers from Vizianagaram city.[1]
Sri Nilakanteswara Temple was constructed by Kalingas in the 10th century.[2] There are 4 temples in the complex on the west bank of River Suvarnamukhi. They are located about 3 miles from Balijipeta and were probably built during the Eastern Ganga dynasty, between the seventh and tenth centuries. They are constructed in the early medieval architectural tradition. Unlike the other temples of the same period, the Narayanapuram temple is completely intact and consists of nine sets of images carved on the most northern temple.
