Naneh Sarma

Naneh Sarma (Persian: ننه سرما nane sarmâ, "Old Woman Winter") is a mythical character in Iranian folklore, similar to the characters Haji firouz, Amoo norooz, and so forth.[1] Naneh Sarma goes back to the Zaroastrian times.

The first time the Iranian folktale of Naneh Sarma was published in English was in 2012, in the book Pomegranates and Roses: A Persian Love Story [2]
