Nandnama is one of the largest villages in the Lakhisarai district in the Indian state of Bihar. It is 11.4 km from the administrative district headquarters in Lakhisarai town and 117 km from the state capital, Patna. Nandnama currently has a population of 15,000 people and is well-connected to its surroundings, both by road and railway links. The village is named after the God "Nandnama".
The village includes schools, colleges and other educational institutions.
Economy
Agriculture is the main occupation, with a majority of the population engaged in cultivating crops such as paddy, wheat, onions, potatoes and mangoes. Nandnama has made Bihar one of the leading states in cattle and goat production.
