Nammoora Mandara Hoove (Kannada: ನಮ್ಮೂರ ಮಂದಾರ ಹೂವೆ) is a 1997 Indian Kannada language film directed by Sunil Kumar Desai starring Shivrajkumar, Ramesh, Prema in the lead roles. The film received two awards at the 1996-97 Karnataka State Film Awards; Best Child Actor - Male (Master Vinayak Joshi) and Best Female Playback Singer (K. S. Chithra).[1]
The film was considered a landmark in the career of its lead actors.[2] It was a huge success at the box-office. Following a 22-week run in Bangalore, it was screened in a few screens in the United States.[3] The film was remade in Tamil language as Kangalin Vaarthaigal.
Plot
Shivrajkumar comes to Ramesh's (his close friend), home town and falls in love with the girl whom Ramesh loves (Prema). Although the rest of the movie is about this love triangle, the movie is generally noted for effectively capturing and utilising the natural beauty of the forests of Yana it's shoot around Sirsi, Uttara Kannada.

Ilaiyaraaja composed the background score for the film and the soundtracks. The lyrics for the soundtracks were penned by K. Kalyan, V. Manohar and Doddarange Gowda. The album consists of seven soundtracks.[4] The album was well received and is considered a major contributor in the film's success.[5]
