Nakhal Para Hossain Ali High School (Bengali: নাখালপাড়া হোসেন আলী উচ্চ বিদ্যালয় ), is a private school in Tejgaon, Dhaka, the capital of Bangladesh. The school offers education for students ranging from play group to SSC (10.)
History
The school situated beside the rail line that is only half kilometers away in east direction from Prime Minister's Office (Bangladesh). 20 February 1957 was a memorable day for residents of Nakhal Para. On this day Late Al-hazz Moron Ali established the school as his father, Late Al-hazz Hossain Ali name.
Description and location
The school is situated at Nakhalpara in Tejgaon thana under Dhaka district. The school is west facing. It has a three storied building. It has three buildings and a large playground. It has forty class rooms (approx.), one is for the headmaster, one is for the assistant headmaster, one is office room and two are for teachers. It has also a library room, a computer lab an a science laboratory. It also has a canteen, a school garden and a "Shahid Minar"
Time and students
There are four thousands students (approx.) in this school. Classes are taken through two shifts; morning shift and day shift. The classes are begins at 8:30am in the morning and breaks at 12am as the morning shift which is for girls. The day shift sits at 12:30pm and breaks at 5pm.the time changes a bit during the winter and ramadan time.
Activities
The school arranges annual sports day regularly. It also arranges annual cultural day, annual milad mahfil etc. It also publishes school magazine regularly. Debate competition and prize giving ceremony are also arranged by the school annually.
Teachers
The school has seventy teachers (approx.). Sheikh Asadul Haquue is the current headmaster of the school. The teachers of this school are highly qualified.
