Nagrota Bagwan is a town and a municipal council in Kangra district in the Indian state of Himachal Pradesh.
Demographics
As of 2001 India census,[1] Nagrota Bagwan had a population of 5655. Males constitute 51% of the population and females 49%. Nagrota Bagwan has an average literacy rate of 79%, higher than the national average of 59.5%: male literacy is 81%, and female literacy is 76%. In Nagrota Bagwan, 11% of the population is under 6 years of age. Geography wise this place lies in center of two famous temples Chamunda ji and Kangra Devi Ji.
