Nadia Myre

Nadia Myre (born 1974) is a Canadian artist.

Myre is Algonquin and lives in Quebec. She attended Camosun College and Concordia University. Myre won the 2014 Sobey Art Award, Canada's largest award for young artists.[1] She is a multidisciplinary artist whose work contains themes of identity, longing, loss, and language. [2] She has received accolades from the New York Times, Le Monde, The Washington Post, Le Devoir, and has been featured in ARTnews, American Craft Magazine, ETC, Parachute, Canadian Art, C Magazine, Monopol, and ESSE. She is also a member of the Royal Canadian Academy of Arts.[3]
