Nadežda Čačinović (born 1 April 1947) is a Croatian philosopher, sociologist, comparatist, feminist and Croatian-language book author.[1][2]

She was born to Slovene parents in Budapest. She graduated in philosophy and comparative literature at the University of Ljubljana.[2] She obtained a doctorate and became a professor at the Department of Philosophy of the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences at the University of Zagreb, being employed there since 1976.[1][2]

She is also a member of an Advisory Board of a left-wing magazine Novi Plamen.

Since 2009 she has been the president of the Croatian P.E.N. Centre, member of International PEN.[3]
