Nallamothu Bhaskar Rao (Telugu: నల్లమోతు భాస్కర్ రావు, born 18 March 1953) is an Indian politician affiliated with the Indian National Congress. He is a is a native of Shakapuram village, Nidamanoor Mandal of Nalgonda District.[1]
Early life
Nallamothu. Bhaskar Rao was born to Nallamothu. Venkata Ramaiah and Lakshmi Kanthamma. Nallamothu Bhaskar Rao completed Bachelors of Science from SR & BGNR College, Khammam.
Telangana Movement
Active participant in first ever Telangana Movement in the year 1969 as General Secretary of Students Union, SR & BGNR College, Khammam. Faced in as many as 16 cases while he participated in the movement and was legally confined to stay at Nelakondapalli village jurisdiction for six (6) months. Worked as a member in Osmania University Students Union along with Late Sri Mallikarjun.
Political career
- Former Chairman – Agricultural Market Committee Nidamamoor, Nalgonda Dist.
- A close associate of Kunduru Jana Reddy for 40 years and played a key role in his every victory.
- Is very instrumental in the victory of Kunduru Jana Reddy Congress Party; from 1989 to till date in Miryalaguda and Nalgonda Parliament Elections along with B.N. Reddy, S. Jaipal Reddy and G. Sukender Reddy.
- Is very instrumental in the victory of Congress Party; from 1989 to till date in Miryalaguda and Nalgonda Parliament Elections along with B.N. Reddy, S. Jaipal Reddy and G. Sukender Reddy.
- Very hard-working and also a good Political Strategist.
- Having strong connections with grass-root level party workers.
- Spearheading the current Local Body Elections(Municipal & Panchayath Raj) and was very vital in winning the Miryalguda Municipal Council Elections in 2005.
- Having a very strong following and Cadre base in Miryalguda Assembly Segment.
- Conducted various Public Welfare and Youth Empowerment Programs
- He is Congress M.L.A. Candidate for 88 - Miryalguda Constituency from the Telangana Region for Legislative Assembly Elections.[2]
Philanthropy Work
- Promotes Education by providing financial aid to deserving students for higher studies such as Medical & Engineering (IIT, BITS).
- Brings awareness in the public about the Health & Hygiene. Provides financial and moral support to the people who are in dire need of medical care.
Personal Life and Family
Nallamothu Bhaskar Rao is married to Jaya. They have two sons. First son, Nallamothu Chaitanya,M.Tech holds an office of Engineering Director in Automotive Robotics Inc. U.S.A, Chaitanya is married to RakheeChandra. His Second son, Nallamothu Siddhardha holds an office of Asst. Vice President for a Multi-national Financial Institution. Siddhardha is married to Rani currently living in Pune.
