The NWA Midwest X Division Championship was a title defended in the Midwest territory of the National Wrestling Alliance[1] until 2011 when NWA Midwest disbanded following the stripping of Almighty Sheik (chairman of the territory) of the NWA World Heavyweight title by NWA president Robert Trobich.[2] On November 1, 2011, the title was renamed Zero1 Pro Wrestling USA Midwest X Division Championship, when NWA Midwest left the National Wrestling Alliance (NWA).[3]
