Nüsnüs (Armenian: Նունիս, Nunis or Ոբևանիս, Vobevanis; also, Nyusnyus) is a village and municipality in the Ordubad Rayon of Nakhchivan, Azerbaijan. It has a population of 1,892.
History
Nüsnüs is one of the lest investigated places in Nakhichevan. It was famous for the St. Gevorg church, supposedly built in the 12th or 13th century, and had a number of acolytes. According to the dates on the graves the village population left the village in the 18th century.
