Myrtle Beach metropolitan area

Horry County is in Red while Georgetown County is in yellow and Brunswick County is directly to the north of Horry County in the state of North Carolina.

The Myrtle Beach metropolitan area (also Myrtle Beach-Conway-North Myrtle Beach MSA) is a census-designated metropolitan area in Horry County, Georgetown County, South Carolina and Brunswick County, North Carolina. The region primary cities, in order by population are Myrtle Beach, SC, Conway, SC, Leland, NC, North Myrtle Beach, SC and Georgetown, SC. Another primary city is Oak Island, NC but the permanent population only is 6,783 as of the 2010 census, but the population jumps up to 50,000 during the summer time.
