Myles Turner (born March 24, 1996) is an American college basketball player from Bedford, Texas. He plays center for the Texas Longhorns.
School career
In his playing career with Trinity High School, Turner was listed as a top college prospect. He was also rated as a five-star prospect by Rivals.com and several more college basketball analysts.[1][2] Turner took part in the 2014 McDonald's All-American Boys Game, in which he scored seven points and grabbed seven more rebounds.[3] He also represented the United States in the 2014 FIBA Americas Under-18 Championship, helping the country win a gold medal. He committed to play for the Texas Longhorns. After completing the 2014-2015 season with the University of Texas, Turner announced that he would leave the school to enter the NBA Draft.[4]
