My Forever are an English pop/rock band based in Thirsk, North Yorkshire.[1] The band consists of songwriter Dave Ingham (Vocals, Guitar), Matt Ainsworth (Bass/Vocals), Ben Watson (Drums). In June 2012 the band released a single called 'Til the End which has received international attention. [2] and 2012 also saw My Forever set off across the UK on two hugely successful national tours [3] In October 2012 the band released their greatly anticipated 5 track EP with the title track "The World Won't Wait" bagging a much coveted slot on the BBC Radio 1 playlist as Record of the Week in the run up to Christmas.[4] The band’s music video for the track which was shot at Manchester Airport in the Concorde hangar has received some amazing industry feedback and is a massive hit with the fans.

On 6 September 2012 My Forever announced that they had signed a major management deal with Liverpool based Fierce Management[5] and the band are currently in negotiations with CBS who have approached them about featuring their summer single “‘Til The End” as part of a sound track for their coverage of the American NFL.

My Forever are currently recording new material for release in summer 2014.

Recognition

My Forever have a number of successes to their name, their debut single "Silken Butterflies" was named BBC Radio 1's Record of the Week in August 2010, their second single "Always a Stranger" was also named "Record of the Week" on UK based station Amazing Radio. The band have played the Leeds and Reading festival on the BBC Introducing stage and have extensive gigging experience playing at venues and festivals across the country.

Their 2012 summer single 'Til The End has attracted interest from the American NFL with the view to using it as part of their soundtrack for their NFL coverage on the American network CBS.[6] The music video for ‘Til The End has also been showcased across the UK on the BBC city centre big screens meaning their music is reaching an audience of hundreds every day. In 2012 they were also named in the final TOP 20 acts for MTV's annual Brand New Unsigned competition whittled down from thousands of entrants.[7]

In October 2012 the band released their greatly anticipated brand new 5 track EP with the title track "The World Won't Wait" bagging a much coveted slot on the BBC Radio 1 playlist as Record of the Week being aired from 17–23 December.[8] The band’s music video for the track which was shot at Manchester Airport in the Concorde hangar has received some amazing industry feedback with MTV showing interest in broadcasting the video worldwide and it has already received national TV coverage on BBC 1's Look North.[9]
