My Combat Channel (MCC) is an English-language specialty channel devoted to airing programming related to combat sports including wrestling, boxing, mixed martial arts, and other combatant styles. Along with airing live fighting events My Combat Channel also airs combat related movies, documentaries, television series, news, and fitness related shows.
Corporate Background
MyCombatChannel, the Company, has created a branded online video channel and broadcast channel, programmed 24/7 with MMA content, one of the fast-growing video content segments in both traditional cable/OTA as well as IPTV video platforms.
My Combat Channel was founded in late 2011 by Fabiano Iha, a prize-winning and celebrated Martial Arts champion. On August 22, 2013, My Combat Channel was purchased by Anthem Media Group.[1]
Global Distribution
In October, 2011 Vivicast Media and My Combat Channel announced their multi-year global distribution agreement covering all distribution platforms.[2] My Combat Channel and Vivicast will focus on delivering the channel to cable, IPTV, OTT and mobile companies around the world. From July 1, 2011 My Combat Channel commenced broadcasting globally on the FilmOn.TV internet television platform. In July, 2012 My Combat Channel announced it would commence broadcasting from September 1, 2012 on FilmOn.TV Los Angeles (KILM - Channel 64).
