Mussarat Ahmed Zeb (born 1950), Nowshera, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, is a Pakistani activist-politician, social entrepreneur and the member of the former royal family of State of Swat. She is currently the Member of National Assembly representing Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf on a reserved seat for women.[1] Mussarat is a royalty by marriage was married at the age of 14 to Miangul Ahmad Zeb;the son of Miangul Jahan Zeb, Wāli of Swat She became a widow when her husband the prince was shot dead in 1986 at the time she was only 25. She also runs a chain of vocational schools for women providing them with training for stitching, sewing and embroidery and then employing them.[2][3]
