Music for Cars is a five-track EP by English alternative rock band The 1975, released on 4 March 2013 through Dirty Hit.[1] It is the third of four EPs released before the band's debut album, The 1975.

Reception

Critical reception to Music for Cars has been mainly positive. According to Rolling Stone, "The 1975 wrap two pop anthems inside a trio of hazy, atmospheric journeys".[2] Venture Mag rated the record 7/10, describing it as "sonically diverse", bringing "an honest, fresh sound to alternative pop" and "genuinely exciting" to listen, but also "possibly too experimental for a long-lasting affect".[3]
