The Diocesan Museum of Milan (Museo Diocesano di Milano in Italian) was founded in 2001 by the Archdiocese of Milan, in order to protect and promote the treasures of the diocese.

The museum, originally conceived by Ildefonso Schuster in 1931, is located in Porta Ticinese and houses a permanet collection of sacred artworks, especially from Milan and Lombardy.[1]
