Murciélagos Fútbol Club is Mexican football club that plays in the Segunda División Profesional. The club is based in Guamúchil, Sinaloa. From its beginnings the club had the aim to turn into a model for Mexican football and 3 years later it can say that its reputation has penetrated the borders and thanks to the media it is known in more than 50 countries. They are the current champions of the Segunda División Profesional.
History
Founded in 2008 and with headquarters in Sinaloa's condition, "Region of the Évora," Murciélagos F.C. is a professional soccer team of The Second Division, property of Grupo Faharo. "The Bats" has a project of great vision and seeks to come step wise to the top divisions, today its aim is the Liga de Ascenso. Murciélagos F.C. broadcast their live games every Saturday at 9pm central time in Mexico on the most interactive page of Internet of Mexican football 3 of Sinaloa are transmitted also by television opened by the channel.
Coach fans via Internet
In January 23, 2010 Murciélagos made history for being the first team in the world to allow its fans to vote through the Web three substitutions in real-time in an official game supported by FIFA. The game was won by Murciélagos 1-0 to Vaqueros de Tepic of the premier league of the second division supervised by Juan Manuel Romo "DtRomo" being the first coach that made history with this novel system and, at the same time, having the largest number of auxiliary technical personnel in the world. In the electronic football called Juan Manuel Navarro was the first player that entered to the field under this novel method replacing Sergio Mejia in the change. Its stadium is the Coloso del Dique which is located in Guamuchil Sinaloa
In April 2010, the team achieved its first liguilla "Playoffs," with the team of 3era Division, commanded by the Prof. Lorenzo Javier Lopez Balboa.
