Munster Senior League is an amateur football league in the Irish province of Munster made up entirely of clubs from Cork, established around 1900. Teams from this league also compete in Ireland's top cup competitions including the FAI Cup, the FAI Junior Cup and the FAI Intermediate Cup. The league gained some interest when League of Ireland champions Bohemians were drawn against Division 1 side Mayfield United in the third round of the FAI Cup in 2009[1] and again in 2011 when Midleton played Cork City FC in the FAI cup [2]
