Muhammad II ibn al-Husayn
Muhammad II ibn al-Husayn (Le Bardo, 18 September 1811 – 20 September 1859, La Marsa) (Arabic: محمد باي بن حسين, Muḥammad Bāy bin Ḥusayn) was the eleventh leader of the Husainid Dynasty and the ruler of Tunisia from 1855 until his death in 1859.
He was the son of Al-Husayn II ibn Mahmud and his second wife Lalla Fatima al-Munastiri.[1] In 1855, he succeeded the title on the death of his cousin Ahmed I Bey.
