Mtel is the trade mark and brand name under which the Bulgarian telecommunications provider Mobiltel[2] operates.
Mtel has won the “Telecommunications” award in the “My Favourite Brands” [3] contest for five years in a row. The company has also been recognized as “Bulgaria’s Strongest Brand” by Super Brands Bulgaria in 2006 and 2008.[4]
In 2012 the company adopted a new brand identity which reflects its transformation into a full telco services provider.[5] The company changed its logo, slogan and jingle. The lines in the design of the new logo embody the uninterrupted circle of communications through messages, mobile services, email, social media etc. The infinite “M” portrays the unlimited possibilities, which Mtel aims to create for its customers.[6]
Two years later the company has a new slogan – “You lead!”.[7] The telecom’s values are leadership, effortless and fair play. In the same year the brand was recognized as “The User’s Favourite Brand” [8] by the “Business Lady” magazine.
Mtel was also awarded in the international ad competition “Mobius” in 2004 and 2008.[9]
