Mountbatten Single Member Constituency
Mountbatten Single Member Constituency (Traditional Chinese: 蒙巴登單選區;Simplified Chinese: 蒙巴登单选区) is a Single-Member Constituency in the Central Part of Singapore. Formerly a ward of Marine Parade GRC from 1997 till 2011. It was carved out to be a SMC again in this 2011 Election.
The constituency consist of Tanjong Rhu, Old Airport Estate,parts of Marine Parade.
Mountbatten did exist as a constituency from 1959 to 1991 as well before it was absorbed into Marine Parade GRC in 1997. Mountbatten had took over the role replacing Chua Chu Kang.
