Mountain West Hockey League

The Mountain West Hockey League (MWHL) is a Senior Elite ice hockey league consisting of teams from the western United States. The league was founded in 2012. MWHL players are USA Hockey registered amateur or re-instated professionals. They consist of North Americans and Europeans having junior, college, and professional experience. MWHL teams play a schedule that runs from October through March. The top four teams participate in the MWHL Cup Championship play-offs in April. The MWHL Cup Championship is typically held in the location of the previous year's MWHL Regular Season Champions.
