Mount Hope is a community in Hamilton Ontario.
The John C. Munro Hamilton International Airport and the Canadian Warplane Heritage Museum are located in Mount Hope, Ontario, Canada.
The center of town may traditionally be the stop sign at the corner of Airport Road and Homestead Drive. Many new subdivisions have been built in the town, but Mount Hope also has quite a rural community feel to it as well- as there are a lot of farms in the area.Hamilton Sod and Vanderwoude Sod are two of the major farms that produce sod of course.
Mount Hope Public School has a program from Junior Kindergarten to Grade 8 and is located on Airport road.
Mount Hope has its own post office, a couple of variety stores, a gas station, a couple of automotive repair garages (Homestead Automotive), Mount Hope United Church, and an ice-cream shop.
Mount Hope also has a Hamilton Public Library branch.
