Mount Haddington 64°13′S 57°38′W / 64.21°S 57.63°W is a massive 1,630-metre-high (5,350 ft) shield volcano located on James Ross Island, Antarctica. It is 60 kilometers wide and has had numerous subglacial eruptions throughout its history, forming many tuyas. Some of its single eruptions are bigger in volume than a whole normal-sized volcano.[2] Old eruption shore lines are found everywhere on the volcano's deeply eroded flanks.
