Mother Ivy's Bay

Polventon Bay^[1] (Cornish: Poll Fenton, meaning pool of a spring), Mother Ivy's Bay, or Mother Ivey's Bay is a bay with a beach near Padstow in Cornwall, England, UK.

The name Mother Ivey's Bay first appears in 1870^[2] and is named after a local wisewoman and white witch.^[3]

It was selected as location for the cover photos of Lucio Battisti's album E già.
