Mosquita
"Mosquita" is a song by the American rock band Tantric. The song was released on August 13, 2013, as the lead single from their fifth studio album, 37 Channels. This single marked the band's first release since 2009's "Coming Undone" single was released, making it their first release in over four years.
Writing and recording
According to lead singer Hugo Ferreira, the song was written when he and Shooter Jennings were just sitting around hanging out and talking about how much "negativity" and how much "shit talking" there is in the music industry these days. Jennings also provides guest vocals for the song.
Music video
An official music video for the song was released on December 5, 2013, on Tantric's official VEVO channel on YouTube. The video consists of Hugo Ferreira playing an acoustic guitar throughout the whole video while performing in a small bar-tavern.
