Moses Hightower is a Reykjavík-based 4-member Icelandic music band established in 2007,[1] and signed to the Record Records.
The band is made up of keyboard player and lead singer Steingrímur Karl Teague, bassist and lead singer Andri Ólafsson, as well as guitarist Daníel Friðrik Böðvarsson, drummer Magnús Trygvason Eliassen.
The quartet Moses Hightower has been in the vanguard of Icelandic soul, that has released two albums, Búum til börn in 2010, that was shortlisted for the annual Kraumur award and nominated for "Album of the Year" and for the band as "Lyricists of the Year" at the Icelandic Music Awards.[2] This was followed in 2012 by the album Önnur Mósebók.
