Mori is a Japanese and Italian surname. In Japanese, Mori may also be a given name. It is also the name of two clans in Japan, and one in India. There is also a village called Mori in India (East Godavari District, Andhra Pradesh). In Yemenite Jewish parlance, the name is used as a title of honor, generally used in place of "Rabbi."
