Moorook railway line
The Moorook railway line was a 31 miles (50 km) spur from Wanbi on the Barmera railway line north to Yinkanie near Moorook. It was proposed to later be extended to Moorook and Kingston if demand arose,[1] but road transport improved so the railway was never extended, and the line was closed in 1971.

The route of the line was designed to cover the gap between the Waikerie railway line and the Loxton railway line at the lowest cost.[1] The names of the new stations were Gluyas, Caliph, Bayah, Tuscan, Koowa, Wunkar, Myrla, Wappalka and Yankanie.[1] (Sources are inconsistent on whether the terminus was spelled Yankanie or Yinkanie.)
