Monte Emilius (3,559m) is a mountain of the Graian Alps in Aosta Valley, Italy. Located just above the town of Aosta, the climb usually starts from the ski resort of Pila, at a height of 1,870m. A marked path usually takes one to the summit, past various lakes, with a bit of scrambling involved. The view from the top takes in many of the most famous Alpine peaks, including Mont Blanc, Monte Rosa, The Matterhorn and Grand Combin[2]
