Monique Cardenas (born October 17, 1979) is a former American professional basketball player in the Women's National Basketball Association (WNBA).
High school
Cardenas attended Keystone Heights Junior/Senior High School in Keystone Heights, Florida.
College and Professional WNBA Career (1998-2002)
From 1998-2002, at the University of Florida, Cardenas excelled for the Florida Gators. She graduated in June 2002 and was selected 53rd overall in the fourth round of the 2002 WNBA Draft by the Portland Fire.[1] At season's end, the Portland Fire folded and Cardenas subsequently retired after one season.
