Mongolian diaspora refers to people of Mongolian descent that live outside of Mongolia. According to the Mongolian Census of 2010, 107,140 Mongolian nationals were reported to be living abroad for more than six months.[1] As of 2009, South Korea had the largest population of Mongolian citizens abroad.[9] China has 5.8 million ethnic Mongolians, who mainly reside in the province of Inner Mongolia.
