Mongolian National University (MNU) is post-secondary school in Ulan Bator, Mongolia.
History
Mongolian National University is the second largest private higher education institution in Mongolia. Established in 1998, by Chairman and Founder, Munkhbat Lkhagvasuren, it was originally named Chandman-Erdene College. In 1999, the School of Law was founded, followed by the School of Economic and Business Management in 2000. MNU was elevated to a four-year college and renamed Mongolian National College in 2002. In 2004, the university was designated “Mongolian National Institute ” for Graduate School of Business and the School of Tourism Management opened. The School of International Relations was founded in 2005, while the School of Mathematics and Information Technology was founded in 2007 and the School of Mining and Construction Engineering in 2008.
The university received the award for “The Most Prominent Mongolian Institute” in 2006, and in 2010 it was certificated by the Global Quality Management Standard Organization. In 2011, the Business School and Program was nominated as an Accreditation Counsel candidate. MNU has expanded and upgraded several times since then and in 2012, took its current name. In 2013/2014 MNU has 8,000 students enrolled in 58 undergraduate programs and three graduate programs.

Through the resulting exchange programs, joint research, and co-sponsored academic activities, the university provides its faculties and students with opportunities to further expand their learning and research.
