Moneyshot was a Canadian rock/punk band that formed in 1999 and was based out of Victoria, British Columbia.

Discography

Moneyshot released five studio albums. The first two albums: "A Vision Of Things To Come"(1999) and "Just Past Now"(2001) were energetic raw basement punk sounding records recorded in Scott Henderson's legendary "Sea Of Shit" studio. The EP that followed, entitled "Amped"(2003) was a definite step up in production value, and started to garner the band considerable attention on local radio and in the media. The hockey themed single "Blades Of Steel" received heavy local airplay, and was featured on various stations across Canada. The album charted on the Earshot Top 200 and landed the band showcases at New Music West, Canadian Music Week and tour dates with bands like No Means No, The Headstones, DOA, No Use For A Name, and The Black Halos.

The band's fourth studio album entitled "Cowboys & Angels"(2004) took a decidedly more rock 'n roll direction. It was recorded partly by the band in a project studio and partially at Greenhouse studios in Vancouver.

Moneyshot's 2006 album "The Illusion Of Quality" was the first album to be recorded and produced entirely by the band and continued with the rock 'n roll feel started on the previous record. Tyson Yerex joined Victoria, B.C based band Acres Of Lions in 2007.
