Molly (TV series)

Molly is a two-part Australian miniseries about music legend Ian 'Molly' Meldrum scheduled to screen on the Seven Network in 2015. It is based on his biography, "The Never, Um ... Ever Ending Story", which was written with journalist Jeff Jenkins.[1]

Synopsis

Molly is based on the life of Ian 'Molly' Meldrum who became one of the most influential and powerful names in Australian music. [1] It follows his life as a popular music critic, journalist, record producer and musical entrepreneur. In particular it covers his time as the talent co-ordinator, on-air interviewer and music news presenter on the popular television music program Countdown, which became a phenomenon and cultural touchstone.
