Ayatollah[1] Mohsen Mojtahed Shabestari (Persian: محسن مجتهد شبستری, was born 1937 in Shabestar, East Azerbaijan) and is an Iranian Shiite cleric and politician. He is a member of the present (4th) Assembly of Experts from the East Azerbaijan electorate.[2] Mojtahed Shabestari won with 671,254 votes[3] and he is imam Jumu'ah for Tabriz in northwest of Iran.
