Mohamed Koffi (born December 30, 1986 in Abidjan, Côte d'Ivoire[1]) is a Burkinabé football midfielder who plays for Zamalek in the Egyptian Premier League. His father who died was Ivorian, his mother is from Burkina Faso.
Career
Koffi began his career with Olympique de Marseille and signed in summer 2006 his first professional contract with Petrojet in Egypt. He held the thirty games, who scored four goals for the club from Suez[2] and was linked on 1 January 2008 with a move to the league rivals Zamalek.[3]
In the late January 2014, Koffi left Petrojet for the Iraqi outfit Duhok SC on a half-year deal. A few month later, he returned to Egypt in June 2014, signing a three-year deal with Zamalek.[4]
International
Koffi is also member of the Burkina Faso national football team and holds two games, who scores one goal for his homeland.[5]
