The Mnet Asian Music Award for Best Asian Artist is an award presented annually by CJ E&M Pictures (Mnet).

It was first awarded at the 6th Mnet Asian Music Awards ceremony held in 2004; three artists from Japan and Taiwan received the awards, and it is given in honor of artist(s) with the best performance in the music industry in their respective countries.[1]
