Mitthulal Agrahari
Mitthulal Agrahari (Died 2009) was an Indian freedom fighter, who jailed for participating in Independence movement in 1942.[1]
Early life
He was from Pashchimi Kaudiya Pakka Pokhra of Shahganj in present day of Jaunpur, Uttar Pradesh. He natively hailed from Azamgarh, United Provinces, British India.
Jailed in 1942
Mitthulal Agrahari was actively involved in freedom movement in 1942 during Quit India Movement. A case was registered against him under 38 & 35 (4) DIR. On 3 September 1942 arrested and imprisoned for six month.
Death and honour
Mitthulal Agrahari, aged 105 was died on 5 October 2009, morning following a heart attack. He was cremated with the Guard of Honor.[2]
