Miss World Korea (Korean: 미스 월드 코리아) is an annual national beauty pageant responsible for selecting South Korea's representative to the Miss World pageant.

The current titleholder is Hwa-young Song, Miss World Korea 2014.

History

In 1959, Hankook Ilbo sent first Miss World contestant who is represent Korea. Miss Korea of 1st runner-up "Seon"(선) or 2nd runner-up "Mi"(미) was represent Korea in Miss World. On March 16, 2011, the president of Miss World Organization Julia Morley announced the newly launched Miss World Korea pageant. The president of Miss World Korea is Park Jeong-ah.[1] Until 2010, Miss Korea would also select the representative to Miss World. The woman chosen in this new competition will represent Korea at Miss World 2015.

The winner of Miss Korea represents her country at Miss Universe. On occasion, when the winner does not qualify (due to age) for either contest, a runner-up is sent. Miss World Korea Organization sent Miss World Korea winner to Miss World in 2011.
