Miss World 1972, the 22nd edition of the Miss World pageant, was held at the Royal Albert Hall on 1 December 1972 on BBC. 53 delegates vied for the crown won by Belinda Roma Green of Australia. Green became the second Australian winner of the crown in just four years.
