Miss Universe 2010, the 59th Miss Universe pageant, was held at the Mandalay Bay Events Center in the Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino, Las Vegas, Nevada, USA on 23 August 2010.[1] It was hosted by Bret Michaels and Natalie Morales.[2] Ximena Navarrete of Mexico was crowned Miss Universe 2010 by outgoing titleholder Stefania Fernandez from Venezuela.[1] Navarette was the second Mexican beauty queen to be crowned as Miss Universe Since Lupita Jones won the title in 1991.
