The Miss Perú 1988 pageant was held on April 27, 1988. That year, 21 candidates were competing for the national crown. The chosen winner represented Peru at the Miss Universe 1988.[1]
One girl was chosen midway through the Miss Peru contest in a Gala de Belleza show, and would enter in Miss World 1988. The rest of the finalists would enter in different pageants.[2]
